Working on a Retrospective!

I'm so excited that I'm going to have a retrospective exhibition at the Lilley Museum, UNR in July 2024. I started to compile and document all my older work and conduct a LOT of internet searching for images that have been long forgotten. I did find this one in the Lilley Museum permanent collection. This is actually a monoprint - smeared on with my fingers...yes, this was back in the day when we didn't wear gloves while printing and we cleaned up with mineral spirits and turpentine. Yes - toxic solvents all the way around. I look back at all this and wonder if may have been the beginning of my eventual MS (Multiple Sclerosis) journey.

I have NOT been feeling well at all the last month (MS flareup and post Covid) but I want everyone to know that even a little art making here and there (usually when I first wake up) is a good thing for healing. I’m starting to post again, too. Which one is your favorite? My husband is going to fund the fabrication of one of these. They are 6ft and I designed them as steel cut, powder coated blended layered sculptures.
